12-Days Luxury Cruise Itinerary From Puerto Williams, Chile to Antarctica

You may have seen the world in in many ways, but nothing compares to the raw, untouched beauty of Antarctica.

There’s something humbling about standing at the edge of the world, watching glaciers glow under the midnight sun and feeling the crisp, untouched air against your skin.

This 12-day Silver Endeavour expedition is a rare invitation to witness nature at its finest.

From the legendary Drake Passage to the icy wonder of the Antarctic Peninsula, every moment is designed for those who crave adventure without sacrificing comfort.

Voyage dates: January 24, – February 5, 2026

Day 1: Board the Silver Endeavour and meet the expert expedition team, and settle into your luxury suite.Enjoy a gourmet welcome dinner as the ship departs through the scenic Beagle Channel.

Day 2 and Day 3: Sail across the Drake Passage, one of the most storied and dynamic waterways on Earth. You can also attend exclusive lectures by glaciologists, marine biologists, and polar historians. The best of all? Spot incredible seabirds, including wandering albatrosses gliding over the waves.

Day 4: Cross into Antarctic waters, surrounded by towering tabular icebergs. Spot Adélie penguins hopping across floating ice. Experience the first landfall in Antarctica, conditions permitting.

Day 5: Explore Brown Bluff – A majestic ice-clad volcano and hike past towering rust-colored cliffs, remnants of an ancient volcano. Observe thousands of Adélie and gentoo penguins nesting on the rocky shores.

Day 6: Visit Cuverville Island, home to one of the largest gentoo penguin colonies. Navigate through the breathtaking Errera Channel, surrounded by glaciers and ice cliffs. 

Enjoy hiking, whale watching, and observing a diverse array of Antarctic wildlife, including penguins, seals, and seabirds in the Cuverville Island—It’s a must-visit spot on Antarctic voyages.

Pro-tip: Leave early in the morning and watch for humpback whales bubble-net feeding in the icy waters.

Day 7: Step onto the Antarctic mainland at Paradise Bay. Visit Almirante Brown Station, an Argentine research base If you’re feeling adventurous enough, go for kayaking excursions, gliding past towering icebergs.

Day 8: Navigate through the stunning Lemaire Channel, flanked by 1,000-meter-high cliffs. Visit Petermann Island, known for its Adélie and gentoo penguin rookeries.

If you’re lucky enough, you may get a chance to see leopard seals and minke whales.

Day 9: Visit Neko Harbour. Step inside Port Lockroy, a historic British research station and post office. For your loved ones, you can shop for exclusive Antarctic souvenirs and send a postcard from the world’s southernmost post office.

Day 10: Visit Deception Island, a volcanic caldera where you can soak in cozy, heated waters. Explore Half Moon Island, home to chinstrap penguins and Antarctic fur seals.

Day 11 and Day 12: Cross back through the Drake Passage, reflecting on the incredible journey. Enjoy farewell cocktails and a special Captain’s dinner.
