ITINERARY
10-Night More Tuamotus & Society Islands
If you've ever dreamed of seeing the South Pacific not just as a destination, but as an experience, this voyage is your invitation.
Aboard the m/s Paul Gauguin, you’ll sail through storied isles like Bora Bora, Moorea, and Huahine, each one offering a mix of natural wonder and rich heritage. This is travel as it was meant to be: unhurried, immersive, and soul-stirring.
From sacred temples in Raiatea to the vivid coral gardens of Fakarava, every stop is a chance to reconnect; with nature, with culture, and perhaps with a part of yourself that’s longed for a little more wonder.
For seasoned travelers with a love of discovery and an appreciation for the finer things, this journey isn’t just another cruise. It’s the one you’ve been longing for.

m/s Paul Gauguin
Voyage dates: February 25 – March 7, 2026
Day 1: Start your journey in Papeete, Tahiti. Explore the vibrant capital of French Polynesia and stroll the waterfront market or sample local dishes from colorful roulottes (food trucks)
Day 2: Are you an ocean lover? This day is all about you! Arrive in Fakarava and begin your experience in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Marvel at rare species, coral churches, and pristine beaches.
Pro Tip: I'd suggest you hire a bicycle in Fakarava (the local bike rental people will be at the port) and just explore that little stretch of land a bit. It's super cute.

Fakarava
Day 3: Full day to explore the untouched paradise of Fakarva. You can explore ancient temples and cultural heritage in tranquil villages. Feeling adventurous? Experience exceptional snorkeling and diving opportunities in protected reefs.
Day 4: In Rangiroa, visit a local black pearl farm and tour French Polynesia’s only winery, or you can relax in the laid-back village of Avatoru.
Day 5: Arrive at Huahine and uncover well-preserved archaeological sites. You can also snorkel in the clear, fish-filled lagoon. If you’re a nature lover, you can revel in the lush, untouched beauty of this “Garden Island”
Day 6: Enjoy your overnight stay in one of the most iconic islands on Earth; Bora Bora. Admire dramatic Mount Otemanu and crystal lagoons
Pro Tip: If the weather allows, I highly recommend scuba diving, sunset cruises, or lounging on the private beach.
Day 7: This is your free day to explore or relax at Bora Bora.
Day 8: Arrive at Raiatea and visit the sacred Taputapuatea Marae, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Feeling energetic? Hike lush trails or snorkel in the emerald lagoon. Hire a guide to learn about the island's spiritual and migration history.
Pro Tip: Book a guided hike to Temehani Plateau, enjoy the stunning views, the mana and the rarest flower in the world (Tiare Apetahi).
Day 9: Experience the unforgettable private islet experience on Motu Mahana and relax with a drink at the floating bar, snorkel, kayak, or just sunbathe. You can also enjoy Polynesian music, crafts, and entertainment by Les Gauguines
Day 10: Arrive at Moorea and see majestic mountain peaks and serene lagoons.
Pro Tip: You can plan a dolphin-watching tour with a marine biologist and hop for local crafts and tropical delicacies
Day 11: Return to Tahiti and Enjoy a final evening on board or visit the evening market ashore.
Day 12: Disembark in Papeete.
Note: Consider extension to spend more time exploring Tahiti or connecting to nearby islands
