It’s an expedition into Earth’s last wild places, wrapped in the comfort and elegance you expect from a luxury voyage.

Voyage dates: June 14 – June 27, 2026

Day 1: Begin your journey in Longyearbyen, one of the world's northernmost towns. Explore its colorful wooden homes and Arctic Museum before boarding Le Lyrial and setting sail into the icy wilderness.

Day 2: Cruise along Spitsbergen's rugged coastline, where towering snow-covered peaks and massive glaciers dominate the landscape. Keep an eye out for bearded seals lounging on ice floes and the elusive polar bear roaming the tundra.

Pro tip: Maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities by spending ample time on deck with binoculars in hand.

Day 3: Navigate through Liefdefjorden, flanked by steep cliffs and home to the impressive Monacobreen Glacier. Witness the glacier's icy façade calving into the sea and observe seabird colonies nesting along the cliffs.

Day 7: Continue your voyage across the Greenland Sea, with opportunities to spot whales and other marine life. Participate in workshops and discussions about Inuit culture and Arctic exploration.

Day 8: Arrive at the remote settlement of Ittoqqortoormiit, where you'll be warmly welcomed by the Inuit community. Learn about their traditions, visit local homes, and gain insight into life in one of the world's most isolated inhabited regions.

Day 10: Sail towards Iceland, enjoying the ship's amenities and attending final briefings on the solar eclipse. Reflect on the journey so far and prepare for the upcoming celestial event.

Day 11: Dock in Isafjörður, a charming town nestled in the Westfjords. Explore its rich maritime history, visit local museums, and perhaps take a hike in the surrounding mountains for panoramic views.

Day 12: Have the rare opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse, the 16th of the 21st century. Under the guidance of astronauts Claudie and Jean-Pierre Haigneré, experience the awe-inspiring moment when the moon completely obscures the sun, plunging the landscape into temporary darkness.

Day 13: Spend your final day at sea reflecting on the expedition's highlights. Share experiences with fellow travelers, review photographs, and enjoy a farewell dinner with the crew.
