ITINERARY

Some cruises are about checking off destinations.

This one is about slowing down and experiencing them fully.

Over 16 nights, you’ll sail from Port Louis to Cape Town, stopping in quiet islands, remote coastlines, and cities rich with culture and warmth. It’s the kind of journey where days unfold gently with space to rest, explore, and enjoy good company.

Here’s the catch: If you’ve cruised with Regent before, there’s something extra in it for you: special savings through the Seven Seas Society program, just for returning guests.

Honestly, it’s a thoughtful itinerary and a well-earned pause from the pace of everyday life.

Seven Seas Voyager

Voyage dates: February 12 – February 28, 2026

Day 1: Begin your journey in Port Louis with Seven Seas Voyager®. Enjoy welcome cocktails, settle into your suite, and join the captain’s reception to meet fellow travelers.

Day 2: Spend a relaxing day on board: enjoy a spa treatment, attend an enrichment talk, lounge by the pool, and savor exquisite cuisine in the specialty restaurants at sea (Indian Ocean).

Pro Tip: Book specialty restaurants early and reserve an evening in the Observation Lounge with cocktails and live music.

Day 3: Go whale watching (in season), bicycle around lush villages, or explore historic pirate cemeteries in Nosy Boraha (Île Sainte-Marie), Madagascar.

The Pirate Cemetery on Nosy Boraha

Day 4: Visit the red granite formations at Montagne d’Ambre, stroll the colonial-era town, or relax on Ankarana reserve excursions.

Day 5: Go snorkeling off coral reefs, walk through aromatic ylang-ylang plantations, or unwind on bright sandy beaches in Nosy Be.

Day 6: This is a quiet day for sea breezes, library time, live music, and craft cocktails at sea. Perfect for recharging after back-to-back ports.

Day 7: In Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, choose between a city walk, cultural cuisine tasting, or an afternoon safari at Mikumi National Park. You’re going to LOVE this!

Day 8: This day, you can also explore local markets in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, or you can meet artisans, or enjoy the beach before heading back to the ship.

Pro Tip: Head to Mwenge Woodcarvers Market for local crafts (don’t forget to negotiate), and take a ferry to Mbudya Island for a quieter beach escape near shore.

Also: Be respectful of local customs. Avoid loud behavior, don’t photograph military personnel, and act politely in public spaces.

Day 9 and Day 10: These consecutive sea days are ideal for spa treatments, enrichment lectures, stargazing on deck, and reconnecting with your travel companions at sea.

Day 11: Explore the spiny forests of Ifaty, watch local fishermen in their craft, or visit baobab-lined countryside.

Pro Tip: Bring proper hiking gear, such as good shoes, long sleeves, mosquito protection, and be ready to hire a local guide for each park entry.

Day 12 and Day 13: Enjoy two more peaceful days with gourmet dining, cooking demos, wellness classes, and live performances on board at sea.

Day 14: Your day at Port Elizabeth, South Africa includes shore excursions such as visits to the Addo Elephant National Park, coastal hikes, or a drive along the scenic Sunshine Coast.

Day 15: Spend a full second day here at Port Elizabeth: explore local vineyards, sample regional cuisine, or tour the historic Fort Frederick.

Day 16: Wander Fusilier’s Cove, try local oysters, or take a short SUP or kayak outing.

Day 17: Disembark with plenty of time to head up Table Mountain, stroll the Waterfront, visit a vineyard nearby, or extend your stay with a post-cruise land program.
