12-Day Nordic Illumination Cruise

There are summer nights when the sun barely dips below the horizon, painting the sky in pinks and golds. That’s exactly the magic you’ll experience on this voyage. Starting in vibrant Helsinki, the journey winds through hidden Finnish gems like Mariehamn and Vaasa, where maritime traditions and quaint harbors charm every traveler.

A highlight awaits in Kemi, where the Arctic spirit lingers in the air—here you can explore pristine forests or stroll along peaceful waterfronts. Moving into Sweden, the ports of Luleå and Sundsvall showcase a mix of medieval streets, coastal cliffs, and modern Nordic culture. Then comes the jewel: two full days in Stockholm, a city built on 14 islands, where palaces, cobblestone streets, and archipelago views unfold at every turn.

After a serene day at sea, you’ll arrive in Copenhagen, a perfect ending in a city famed for colorful Nyhavn, royal castles, and its effortless Scandinavian style. This is a voyage of long days, glowing evenings, and unforgettable Nordic beauty.

Day 1: Embark in Helsinki, Finland. Explore markets, saunas, and seaside boulevards before sailing out under Nordic skies.

Day 2: Mariehamn, Finland is a picturesque port in the Åland Islands. Visit the maritime museum or stroll leafy avenues lined with wooden villas.

Day 3: Vaasa, Finland is known as Finland’s sunniest city. Enjoy open-air markets, coastal bike rides, and the UNESCO Kvarken Archipelago nearby.

Days 4–5: Kemi, Finland is the gateway to Lapland. Explore forests, visit the SnowCastle, or take in views of the Gulf of Bothnia.

Day 6: Luleå, Sweden is a historic harbor city surrounded by islands and old Gammelstad Church Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Days 7–8: Sundsvall, Sweden is a hidden treasure on Sweden’s east coast, with granite cliffs, Art Nouveau architecture, and charming squares.

Days 9–10: Two days to wander in Stockholm, Sweden. Gamla Stan’s cobbled streets, tour the Royal Palace, and cruise the scenic archipelago.

Day 11: Relax with a Nordic-inspired spa treatment, wine tasting, or simply watch the horizon glow at midnight at Sea.

Day 12: Disembark in Denmark’s stylish capital, Copenhagen, Denmark. Visit Tivoli Gardens, stroll Nyhavn, or savor Danish pastries before heading home.
