ITINERARY
13-Day Off The Beaten Path Alaska Journey
If Alaska is on your list, this is how you do it right. Most people only see Alaska from the ship.
You’ll live it.
Start in Fairbanks, where long summer days stretch into golden nights. From there, head deep into Denali National Park, staying in wilderness lodges surrounded by mountains, rivers, and wildlife.
This is the part most travelers miss.
Then, just when you feel like you’ve unplugged from everything, you board the Discovery Princess and shift into full comfort mode.
From there, Alaska comes to you.
Towering glaciers.
Quiet fjords.
Whales surfacing beside the ship.
You’ll cruise through Glacier Bay and Hubbard Glacier, then stop in iconic ports like Juneau and Ketchikan before ending in Vancouver.
It’s the perfect balance: raw nature + refined comfort.

Discovery Princess
Voyage dates: Multiple summer dates available
Day 1: Arrive in Fairbanks. Alaska’s “Golden Heart City.” Settle in and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2–3: Two full days near Denali National Park. Wildlife, massive landscapes, and pure quiet.
Day 4: Wake up to views of North America’s tallest peak at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge. This is postcard Alaska.
Day 5–6: Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge is remote and untouched. Great for fishing, hiking, or doing absolutely nothing.
Day 7: Transition from land to sea in Anchorage (Whittier). Settle into your room and explore the ship before departure.
Day 8: Hubbard Glacier (Scenic Cruising). Massive blue ice walls. You’ll hear the glacier crack before you see it move.
Day 9: Glacier Bay National Park is one of the highlights of the entire trip. Protected, wild, and unforgettable.
Day 10: Icy Strait Point is small, authentic, and less crowded. Think whales, forests, and local culture.
Day 11: Arrive in Juneau, Alaska’s capital. Glaciers, hiking, and some of the best whale watching in the world.
Day 12: Arrive in Ketchikan. Colorful waterfront town known for salmon, totem poles, and easy exploring.
Day 13: Slow down. Spa, food, ocean views. Let it all sink in at sea.
Day 14: Arrive in Vancouver. One of the most beautiful cities in North America.
